Melissa "Lissa" Anne Steele, 48, of Eula, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Melissa Steele was born in Brownwood, Texas on November 19, 1976, to the late LouAnne and Ronnie Steele. She attended Eula High School. Melissa was known for her kind heart and her love for her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face at all times. However, most of all Melissa was known for her faith in God, and the love of her church family at Rowden Baptist Church. She enjoyed the trips with family fishing and camping. She loved traveling to see family and friends. Melissa loved more than anything the time she spent with her nieces and nephews, and her great niece and nephew. God and Family meant the world to Melissa.

Melissa is survived by her beloved family; brother, Jeremy Steele of Abilene, Texas; Neice, Autumn Steele of Rotan, Texas; Nephew, Coltin Steele and wife Heather Steele of Abilene, Texas; Nephew, Paxton Steele of Buchanan, Tx. She also leaves behind a Great Niece, Raelynn Steele and Great Nephew, Remington Steele of Abilene, Texas, along with many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents Ronnie and LouAnne Steele; Grandmother, Betty Steele; and cousins Shawn Godfrey and Ricky Steele.

A Celebration of Life Services will be held at Rowden Baptist Church on September 13, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. All who knew and loved Melissa and the Steele Family are invited to attend.
