Funeral services for Mr. Michael Wayne Cole will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend James Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Holloway Cemetery, Deville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Cole, 70, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria, LA.
Michael was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He cherished his dog, valued time with his family, and never passed up the joy of a good fish fry. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbra Cole, Sr. and Willie Mae Cole; one brother, Wallace Eugene Cole; and four sisters, Elaine Myra Fitzgerald, Lois Jill Gurgainers, Robbie Sue Smith, and Margaret Louise Deville.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include four brothers, Elbra Cole, Jr. (Dee) of Benton, Jerry Dale Cole (Bertha) of Deville, Henry Cole (Melinda) of Sibley, and Rickie Cole (Candace) of Bossier City; and two sisters, Shirley Salzer (Pete) of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Debbie Navarre of Scott.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
