Michael Robert Cook
Beloved son of Gail Cook, and the late Robert Cook passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at MediLodge of Montrose. He was born May 8, 1981. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Michael was a proud graduate of Freeland High School, Class of 1999. He continued his education at Oakland University, where he pursued Mechanical Engineering. He was known for his sharp wit, love of technology and infectious smile.
Michael is survived by his mother, Gail, and nieces and nephew, Brianna, Ian, Samantha and Miranda Klaus, several cousins and other relatives. He was predeceased by his father, Robert, and his sister, Kimberly. Although Michael had no children of his own, he touched the lives of many as a devoted friend and family member. He will be fondly remembered for his passion for life and his ability to make everyone around him laugh. Rest in peace, Michael. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
