Michael Ford Obituary

Michael Alan Ford, 64 of Rushville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, July 3rd at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 18, 1960, in Rushville, IL, the son of Lyle Frank Ford Jr and Janet Sue Hoffman Ford. He married Janey Powell Sargent on May 1, 2010, in Schuyler County, IL. She survives along with (1) daughter; Debbie (Trenton) Lovekamp; (2) Step-sons; Branden (Kelly) Sargent, Josh (Jessica) Sargent; (11) grandchildren; Hannah, Hunter, Chloe, Briar, Liam, Anna, Madelyn, Josie, Addylynn, Blalynn, and Tatum; (1) great grandchild, Hazel; (1) brother; Jeff Ford and (1) sister; Melinda (Jim) Etter. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Mike was a member of the Rushville Moose Lodge, Rushville Fire Department, Rushville Masonic Lodge, Schuyler Shooters and was a Schuyler County Board member. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, and NASCAR Racing. Mike took immense pride in his grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events. Cremation has been accorded. At Mike/s request there will be no services. Memorials may be given to St. Judes.
