Michael Gnecco Obituary

Michael James Gnecco 74 of Palm Bay, FL died peacefully at home on Thursday June 26th. Born in Jersey City to Edwin and Alice (Carrol) Gnecco, he resided in Secaucus, NJ, before retiring to Palm Bay. Michael was employed as a telephone linesman for Verizon in New Jersey for 32 years prior to his retirement 21 years ago.
Michael is survived by his wife, Nancy (Willand) Gnecco, Daughter Joey, Son Patrick, Daughter In-Law Eleonor, 2 Grandsons Dylan and Riley, Sister Rita, and Brother Raymond.
Michael enjoyed gardening and coin collecting in his retirement. He was very proud of his garden and how he cultivated it through the years. Many neighbors would stop by to see the lavish color of his garden and often compliment him on how nice it was. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Yankees, and watching his grandsons play whenever he was in town. He was quite the character and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Private entombment was held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ under the direction of Hancliffe Home for Funerals, 222 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover.
