Michael Jackson age 74 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 03, 2025 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born May 18, 1951 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late John and Ida Salyer Jackson. Survived by his wife, Patricia Risner Jackson, one son, Billy Jackson of Ezel, Kentucky, two daughters, Tammy Risner, Patty Jackson both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Clifford Jackson of Salyersville, Kentucky, eleven grandchildren, Gabrielle Howell, Brenton Huff, Mitchell Risner, Harley Ferguson, Megan Balestrieri, Emily Balestrieri, Landynn Roark, Mickaylyn Howard-Conrad, Braden Jackson, Braxton Jackson, Blake Jackson, with a host of great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by two sons, Michael Shawn Risner, Michael Roark, one daughter, Sheila Balestrieri, four brothers, James Jackson, John (Jack) Dudley Jackson, Clyde Jackson, Claude Jackson, two sisters, Rella Mae Reeder, and Wanda Allen. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 07, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Kenny Bailey officiating, burial will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery at Royalton, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday, August 06, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to: The Michael Jackson memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
