Obituary Honoring the Life of Michael Francis McVeigh
A dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Michael F. McVeigh, 71, of Warwick and formerly Pawtucket, passed peacefully on June 2nd, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Pawtucket on November 11th, 1953, to the late Francis & Annette McVeigh, he was raised and educated there before relocating to Warwick where he resided for the remainder of his life. He leaves behind his former wife of 46 years, Gail McVeigh, also of Warwick.
With a free, youthful, and adventurous spirit, Michael enjoyed listening to Rock music, cruising on his motorcycle, and traveling, especially to Aruba! He was an avid New England Patriot's fan and enjoyed men's basketball particularly the PC Friars. He enjoyed watching and attending his team's games.
Sadly, predeceased by his daughter Ashley McVeigh, he leaves two daughters, Heather McVeigh and Alaina Cabral, both of Warwick along with grandchildren, Ayden Burns and Gabriella Cabral; siblings, Gail Parkinson of Warwick and Brian McVeigh of Pawtucket; and several nieces, nephews, and friends, all by whom he'll be sorely missed but fondly remembered.
Services for Michael have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home, Providence and services will be private.
