He was born to Dale L. Schiltz & Irene (Whited) Stone in Denison, IA. Mike lived in Denison for most of his younger years until moving to Alhambra, CA. He went to work as a mechanic at his father's Chevron Gas Station. He loved the sunshine and beaches! He loved construction work of any kind and was good at it! He loved to golf with family and friends, grilling out, fishing, or just relaxing in a lawn chair outside. He never said no to anyone who asked for his help and would be there until the end.
He was blessed with 2 daughters who survive him, Nicole Schiltz and Kylea (Jose) Ledesma. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Dennis and James; sister, Susan (Don) Aschenbrenner; foster brother, Dwayne Francois, and grandchildren, Brian, Brianna, Layton, Liam and Nataliah.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles and many cousins.
