Michael Taylor Obituary

Michael Wade Taylor, a man of deep faith and patriotism, passed away at his Whidbey Island home on May 1, 2025. Born in Moses Lake, after graduating from Eisenhower High School in Yakima, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served as a medic with the 10th Engineer Battalion before serving as a combat medic with the U.S. Army's 1st Battalion 75th Rangers Regiment, maintaining lifelong bonds with his military brothers. Returning home, Michael built a career as a respected Master Electrician.
His faith and love for his country were central to his life. An outdoorsman with a cowboy spirit, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing with cherished friends. Michael treasured his daily calls with his mother and the companionship of his Wire Fox Terriers, Hunter and Scout.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Taylor, and brother, David Scott Taylor. He leaves behind his parents, Sandra and Jack Dilbeck; his partner, Sherrye Wyatt; his children, Maddie and Cameron Taylor; and many close friends.

A private celebration of his life is being planned. He will be dearly missed.

Michael loved our Wire Fox Terriers and after his father passed away a few years ago, we were entrusted with his Welsh Terrier.
