Michael "Mike" David Weaver, 57, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born September 15, 1967, in Manilla, Philippines to the late Marvin Nelson Weaver and RosaLinda Adams and grew up in Malta. He was a 1985 graduate of Morgan High School. Mike was a life member of the American Legion Post 29, where he was also the treasurer. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing pool, fishing and slot machines. He also loved everything Denver, whether it was the Rockies, Broncos or Avalanche and Colorado State. He served his country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his daughter: Kelli Begley; grandchildren: Vacilya Begley and Josef Begley; two brothers: Mitchell Weaver and Ryan Adams; his stepfather Dan Adams; a sister Michelle (Tim) Norman; four nephews: Joseph (Jessi) Norman, Jorden Norman, Joziah Norman and Jayden Norman; and a great nephew Camden Norman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold and Irene Weaver.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, 2831 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
A Memorial Service will be from 4 to 7PM Thursday, January 30 at the American Legion Post 29, 27 South Third Street, Zanesville, Ohio, with full military honors.
