Michele Cagle Obituary

Michele Self Cagle, 71, of White Settlement, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 31, 2025, in her home.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Boyd Cemetery.

Michele was born May 4, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Bobby Darwin Self and Billy June (Philipps) Self. She graduated from Western Hills High School and attended college classes at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX, then became a Referral Coordinator with Texas Health. Michele loved traveling, sightseeing, driving through Utah, and touring museums. Among her travels, she visited sites where the movies Justified, Wild Hogs, and The Ten Commandments were filmed.

Michele was an avid reader who also enjoyed watching her favorite movies and television series, such as The Color Purple, Bones, Blue Bloods, and other mysteries and documentaries. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Billy June Self.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are her husband of fifty years Terry Cagle; her son Michael Brent Cagle and wife Kathryn; her daughters, Rachel Erin Cagle and Kelli Nicole Cagle and husband Robert Chapman; her grandchildren, Kaytlynn, Brayden, Connor, Jackson, Elaina, Zoe, Grant, Hunter and Ryker; her brother, Gary Michael Self; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
