Mickey Taber Obituary

Born July 26, 1952, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Frankie James "Frank" McDowell and Wanda Louise Kinder McDowell, she had lived in Atmore, AL several years but lived Sikeston most of her life and had been employed at Truck Pro and the Boot Factory. Mickey loved spending time with her grandkids, playing cards, crafting and Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She was an avid Cardinal baseball fan.
Surviving are her daughters, Amy (Brent) Hay of Sikeston and Tracy (Shane) Clayton of Wilmer, AL; her grandchildren, Andrew (Sara) McDowell, Austin (Lauren) Hay, Alli (Spencer) Hay Williams, Regan McGhee, Kennedi McGhee, Connor McGhee and Austin Clayton; four great grandchildren; her brother, Eddie (Christy) McDowell and her sister, Billie (Tommy) Bridger, all of Sikeston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Taber.
A family graveside service is being planned at Matthews Cemetery.
McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
