Mike Ramsey, a beloved figure in the hearts of many, left this world on May 19, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 5, 1961, Mike was known not only for his lively and outspoken personality but also for his remarkable ability to connect with people. He was a true people person, always making friends and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Mike had an appreciation for life that extended to his fondness for the finer things. His impeccable style was evident in everything he wore, as he was always well-dressed and had a love for nice things that radiated through his appearance. His collection of hats and tennis shoes became a testament to his unique flair and eye for fashion, further enhancing his larger-than-life persona.
An ardent fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Mike could often be found cheering his team on, showcasing his loyalty and passion for the game. Beyond his love for sports, he had a natural curiosity that led him to collect a variety of items, which sparked joy and conversation among friends and family.
His warmth, charm, and zest for life made him not just a friend but an integral part of the lives of those who knew him. Mike's unwavering love for his family and friends was evident to all around him—his heart was as expansive as his interests.
As we gather to honor Mike's memory, visitation will be held on June 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. A Prayer Service will follow on June 5, 2025, beginning at 7:15 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. Finally, a Funeral Service to celebrate his extraordinary life will take place on June 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
Though Mike's time with us was far too short, his spirit and vibrant energy will continue to live on in our memories. We are forever grateful for the moments we shared and the love he freely gave. As we remember him, let us carry forward his legacy of friendship, style, and heartfelt connections, celebrating a life well-lived and deeply cherished.
