She was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on October 28, 1974 to Enrique Santiago and Ermenegilda Morales.
Milca was truly the brightest star in the dark sky. She was someone who stood out in a crowd and was always smiling, even when life didn't give her a reason to. She was a strong, feisty, and resilient woman who always cracking jokes, even till the end. She was a true blessing to all that had gotten to know the real her.
She is survived by her daughter Izellah Ortiz and her husband Robert Ortiz. She was predeceased by her son Seth Sebastian Ortiz.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 18, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 1:00 pm at St. Mary Cemetery, 600 Jefferson Avenue New London.
