Mrs. Millie Eve Rabon Prince, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at McLeod Seacoast Hospital. Born on June 17, 1961, in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Franklin Rudolph Rabon and the late Shirley H. Perdue Rabon. Mrs. Prince worked during shutdowns as a tool room attendant at Duke Power and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Prince deeply loved her family and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
Survivors include her loving husband of 14 years, Terry Leyndon Prince; daughters, Rachael Watts (Billy C. Jr.), Terri Grainger (Stephen), Ashley Hope Strickland (Cody), and Shelby Lyndon Prince; twelve grandchildren, Erin Todd, Morgan Todd, Ashlyn Watts, Hunter Harrelson (Christine), Christian Lane (Madilyn), Madison Grainger, Kameron Strickland, Sadie Strickland, Konner Strickland, Jahmir Prince, Joniah Prince, and Jahzelle Prince; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Margo Cox (Timothy), and Locket Ebbs (Timothy); sisters-in-law, Pam Prince, and Anne Reynolds; brother-in-law, Markyl Prince; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Prince was predeceased by her nephew, Patrick Rabon; brothers, Franklin Wayne Rabon, and Kendall Rabon; and sister, Alma Jean McDowell.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Ebbs and Rev. Tim Cox officiating. Committal services will follow at Old Zion Wesleyan Cemetery in Tabor City, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, prior to services, at Hardwick Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 1506 Gumm Plaza, Hwy 501, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
