Misty Jefferson Obituary

Misty Michelle Jefferson (Bishop) was born on June 6, 1987 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on June 20, 2025 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 38.
Misty attended Justice schools in her grade school years, and then attended Wewoka Schools when she started high school. She lived in Wewoka as a child, and spent some time in Oklahoma City as a young woman before returning to the Wewoka area.
Most recently, Misty was working at KFC in Seminole. Before that, she worked at the Family Dollar/Dollar Tree for a year before its closing. She had a hobby of collecting both dolphin figurines and Coca-Cola products. She enjoyed listening to country music and spending time riding around with her friends. She cherished her relationship with her late Grandpa, Red Bishop. She was also very proud when her son Roy had his first child, Santiago.
Misty was preceded in death by a sister, Christian Lynn Yahola; a brother, Robbie Walter Bishop; her grandfather, Walter (Red) Bishop; and a stepmother, Yvonne Michelle Bishop.
She is survived by her father, Robbie Bishop and Stepmother Jennifer Bishop of Wewoka; her mother, Michelle Wurtz of Wewoka; three children, Kylia LeAnn Jefferson of Seminole, Roy Dale Jefferson III of Seminole, and Jacob Lee Jefferson of Wewoka; Siblings, Ryan Bishop and Colton Bishop, both of Wewoka; Brittany Bishop of Wewoka; Gary Wurtz of Seminole, Chester Wurtz of Shawnee; and Sapphire Wurtz of Seminole; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held for Misty Jefferson on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery pavilion in Wewoka.
Services are under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
