Mitchell Booker Obituary

Mitchell Ryan Booker, 34, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1991, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Randall Booker and Tracey Booker (Moore).
Mitchell was known for his infectious joy, unwavering kindness, and his trademark "bear hugs", a loving gesture that earned him the affectionate nickname "Boobear." He married his best friend and soulmate, Casey, sharing a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Together, they were inseparable, never leaving each other without an "I Love You" and a kiss.
Mitchell loved both the thrill of life and the simple pleasures. He enjoyed traveling, especially to theme parks where he delighted in riding the biggest and fastest roller coasters. Yet, he also treasured quiet days at home, watching his favorite TV show, The Chosen, or cooking meals spiced with the hottest peppers he could find.
Family was at the heart of Mitchell's life. He cherished time spent with his loved ones and was always ready to lend a hand, whether tilling his mother's garden, cleaning out the garage, or just sharing good conversation on weekends.
Professionally, Mitchell was a dedicated and hardworking mechanic at Refresco, where he worked for over five years. Rising through the ranks with pride and determination, he valued the friendships and camaraderie of his work family. Mitchell was known for his joyful spirit, ready to lift others with a joke, a listening ear, or a helping hand. He never met a stranger and never judged anyone, spreading happiness wherever he went.
Mitchell is survived by his loving wife, Casey Booker; stepdaughter, Mackenzie Henson; granddaughter, Khalia Billy; mother, Tracey Foster; stepfather, Ivan Foster; grandfather, John Ray; grandmother, Mona Ray; mother-in-law, Cindy Henson; father-in-law, Frankie Jewell; brothers, Michael Roebuck and wife Timber, and John Booker; sisters, Michelle Keitel and husband Bruce, Megan Mason (Booker), and Anna Crow and husband Cory Flinn; nieces and nephews, Nola Roebuck, Jaden Roebuck, Pyper Holt, Jaxon Mason, Evelynne Mason, Bentley Booker, Madilyn Booker, Zoe Booker, Hadley Booker, Charlie Booker, Corey Flinn Jr., Isabella Flinn, Delilah Foster, and Maverick Courville; sisters-in-law, Samantha Henson and Cheyanna Henson; brother-in-law, David Henson; and cousins-in-law, Bravyn Henson and Pheenix Rucker.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial will follow on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Warner Memorial Cemetery in Warner, Oklahoma.
