Obituary of Mollie E. Piana

Mollie Esther Piana, of Budd Lake, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the age of 85. Her sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Mollie is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene "Gene" R. Piana; one son, Daniel Limone and his wife Jennifer; two daughters, Leslie Trevezo and her husband Joe & Kathy Franco; six cherished grandchildren, Luke Trevezo, Anthony Trevezo, Joey Castrovillari, Daniel Limone Jr., Thomas Franco and Kaelyn Franco; two great-grandchildren, Molly & Jackson Trevezo; and several extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Mollie was predeceased by her son, Peter Limone III; her two brothers, Phil & Ralph Falco; and her brother-in-law, Rocco "Rocky" J. Piana.

Born in Morristown to the late Ralph and Leslie Falco, Mollie was raised in Madison alongside her two brothers. From a young age, she exemplified the values of love, kindness and dedication that would define her life. Mollie was a devoted wife to her husband Gene, with whom she shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support for one another.

Mollie's greatest joy came from her family. She was a loving mother who poured her heart into raising her children and later embraced her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother with boundless affection. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured.

A dedicated housekeeper, Mollie took great pride in maintaining a warm and welcoming home. Her attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness reflected her nurturing spirit. Beyond her long career as a housekeeper for multiple families, Mollie was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and she enjoyed teaching others the Bible for over 50 years, sharing her faith and wisdom with others. Mollie had great faith and looked forward to the promise in the Bible of a beautiful paradise on earth and wanted to share that hope with as many people as she could.

Mollie had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, particularly the majestic North Carolina mountains, where she found peace and inspiration. She enjoyed reading and had a zest for life that included a love for animals and a passion for spicy food.

Known for her reliability and kindness, Mollie was a good friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her compassionate nature and unwavering support made her a pillar of strength for those around her.

Mollie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving spirit, her dedication to family, and her unwavering faith. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family, honoring Mollie's wishes and the cherished memories they hold dear. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hackettstown, NJ on a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mollie's memory, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, reflecting her generous heart and commitment to helping others.
