Monica Diane Andersen, aged 71, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, gracefully departed this world on May 15, 2025. She entered life on December 21, 1953, at Camp Pickett, Virginia, as a beloved daughter of the late Betty (Hamaker) & Wesley Smith.
Diane, an alumna of Parkview High School, possessed a fondness for the intricate art of jigsaw puzzles & the thrill of uncovering hidden gems through thrifting. Her passion embraced the thrilling realm of motorcycles, where she was a regular & fervent participant in a variety of events & rallies. Her greatest joy, however, was found in the company of her beloved grandchildren, upon whom she lavished affection & delightful indulgences.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Bradley Andersen; their cherished son & daughter-in-law, Nicholaus & Michelle Andersen; her beloved siblings, Wesley Smith & his wife Becky, Pam Marr, & Jeanne Shirley. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren: Blake, Hayden, Emersyn & Landen. Additionally, she leaves behind a circle of close friends who were as dear to her as family.
Visitation will commence at 5:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a future date.
