Betty Jean Blanton (nee Heron), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Wendall Patterson Blanton, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Joseph T. and Myrtle L. Heron; devoted mother of Dan (Terry) Blanton, and Susan (Brian) Ermeling; loving grandmother of 12; treasured great-grandmother of 19.
Betty was a successful business owner, running The Dressing Room for 13 years. She enjoyed working puzzles, caring for her beloved dogs, and tending to her flower garden. Family meant everything to Betty—she loved hosting holidays, especially when she could bake her famous cherry pie, and she cherished catching up with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed leisure time at Table Rock Lake with family and friends.
She was a devoted member of Little Hills Church. Betty shared 69 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Wendall. Betty treasured the close friendships she maintained, meeting monthly with a special group of friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Betty's name to Little Hills Church in St. Charles.
