In Loving Memory of Munkida (Dikhow) Kalla

(April 1, 1948-July 27, 2025)

Munkida (Dikhow) Kalla, a devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Her life was a shining example of love, strength, and unwavering faith.

Munkida is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Nazar Kalla, and their four daughters: Sandra (Patrick) Alexander, Orlena (Robert) Kasgorgis, Robin (Norman) Shamoun, and Melanie (Matthew) Zoma. She was a proud and dedicated grandmother to Isaac, Ashley, Julia, and Noah Kasgorgis; Angelene, Xavier, and Camryn Alexander; Kayla and Khloe Shamoun; and Mackenzie, Brady, and Tyler Zoma.

She also leaves behind her beloved mother, Jamila Dikhow, her cherished siblings, Joseph (Najat), Sam (Vivian), Mike (Sarab), Al (Olivia) Dikhow and Wijdan (Basil) Yaldo, and sister-in-law Jean (Wisam) Dado, nieces, nephews and many extended family members and friends who were blessed by her kindness, hospitality, and warmth.

Munkida's home was always open, her table always full, and her heart even fuller. She will be remembered for her strength, her compassion, and the way she cared for everyone around her.

Her legacy of love and family will continue to live on through all those whose lives she touched. She will be missed beyond words and remembered forever.
