Myra Spring, 83, of Altamont, died at 7:37 p.m., Friday, July 4th, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2025 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont with Pastor Jody Kitts officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Myra Laneta Spring was born on January 22, 1942 in Morris, IL to Donald Myron and Delphia (Condo) Spring. She married Cecil Warren and they later divorced, but remained friends. She was retired from Steak-n-Shake where she had worked for 18 years.
She is survived by: her sons, Myron Ralph (Ailyn) Spring of Altamont and Carl Eugene Warren of Effingham; daughters, Delphia Jane Warren of Altamont and Beth (Tom) Mills of Tower Hill; brother, Jerry (Pat) Settlemire of Altamont; Sisters, Tresa (Doug) Beavers of Altamont, Linda Settlemire of Friendsville, TX, Madonna Spring of Friendsville, TX, and Bonita Jackson of Greenwood, IN; life-long friend Dorothy Sparrows of Springfield and best grandma to several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Myra was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, James Settlemire and sister, Tammy Campe.
