Myrna Catherine Bozarth, 88, passed away on July 11, 2025, at Advent Health Rollins Brook Hospital in Lampasas, TX. She was born on December 11, 1936, in Belton, TX, to Shelby Medart and Margaret Morgan.
Services will be held at Central Christian Church, 204 S. Broad St., Lampasas, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Myrna grew up in Lampasas, TX. She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1954. After high school, she attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX for two years.
Myrna married Mickey Bozarth in 1955, in Lampasas, TX. They were happily married for 70 years and had two children. She was a great wife and loving mother. Myrna enjoyed watching all of her son, Mackey's, football games and golf tournaments and her daughter, Marci's basketball games and golf tournaments. After they finished high school, she and Mickey continued watching Marci play in many collegiate golf tournaments.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Margaret Medart.
She is survived by her spouse, Mickey Bozarth of Lampasas, TX; her son, Mackey Bozarth of Lampasas, TX; and her daughter, Marci Bozarth of Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
