Nadia Lynn Madrid, 46, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment to share a kind thought or memory with Nadia's family at www.andersonbethany.com.
There will be a viewing held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the services at South Park Cemetery.
On January 12, 1979, Nadia Lynn Madrid was born to Henry Madrid and Mary Ann Atencio in Roswell, New Mexico. Nadia had a passion for drawing and was always ready to create a tattoo for someone. She cherished her time with her grandchildren; from taking them to the park, to swimming like mermaids! She even composed a special song for my brother's son, showcasing her love and creativity.
To my brother and I, she was more than just a mother; she was our dearest friend. We knew we could always confide in her about anything. Nadia was a truly generous soul; she may not have had much, but if she heard someone was in need, whether it was for money or even the shoes off her feet, she would give without hesitation. Nadia will be missed by her friends and family.
Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Nadia are her children, Samantha Sambrano, Johnny Sambrano, Cassandra Ortiz, and Roy Ortiz Jr; grandchildren, Amiyah Henson, Aiden Peywa-Sambrano, Milani Henson, and Ethan Henson Jr.; grandmother, Tillie Madrid; brother, Nathan Madrid; sisters, Bethany Madrid and Derada Primera.
Nadia is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Eddie Madrid and Mary Ann Atencio; brother, Isreal Madrid; uncle, Albert (Tito) Tegeda; and her best friend, Roy Ortiz.
Blessed to be chosen as honorary pallbearers are Amiyah Henson, Milani Henson, Ethan Henson, Aiden Peywa-Sambrano, Sabrina Madrid, and Cassandra Ortiz.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Johnny Sambrano, Bethany Madrid, Sergio Tegeda, Richard Madrid, Henry Madrid, Johnathan Madrid, Samantha Sambrano, and Roy Ortiz Jr.
Nadia's tribute was written in her honor by her daughter.

My deepest condolences to Tillie, Samantha, Johnny, Nathan and grandchildren. I have known Nadia all her life. A beautiful and loving mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend. She was one of a kind. She will be missed but never forgotten. Fly high mija. No more pains from this world.
