Nahelie LaRose Sinitiere, a shining light and beloved young spirit, left this world far too soon at the tender age of eleven. Born on July 22, 2014, in Metairie, Louisiana, she was a cherished daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend who graced the lives of many with her sweet and compassionate nature. Nahelie peacefully transitioned to the arms of angels on July 26, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Nahelie was a radiant personality, known for her beautiful smile that could illuminate even the darkest of days. Her warmth and kindness had a profound impact on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. With an innate ability to find joy in the simplest moments of life, she inspired those around her to cherish each day as a gift. She had a vibrant love for arts and dance, indulging in anything that sparkled or was fit for a princess. Nahelie's spirit was further reflected in her affection for animals; she was a proud pet lover, doting on her two beloved cats.
A passionate and competitive young athlete, Nahelie thrived as a softball player. Her dedication to the sport was matched by her enthusiasm for summer activities, where she found immense joy in swimming and other playful pursuits.
Nahelie is survived by her devoted mother, Heather Kaye Raved-Sinitiere, and her father, Jeremy Philip Sinitiere, along with her bonus mom, Tiffany Keel, and bonus sister, Jurni Viator. The legacy of her love will be carried forth by her maternal grandparents, Kimberly and Casey Fremin. She is also remembered fondly by her Aunt Jessica Sinitiere and her husband Blake Sonnier, her cousins Embri Sinitiere and Karsyn Henry, as well as her uncle Joshua Raved and cousin Matthew Broussard.
Nahelie is preceded in death by her loving paternal grandparents, Perri Lynn Sinitiere and Phil James Sinitiere, who have surely welcomed her with open arms in the eternal embrace of love.
In honor of Nahelie's beautiful spirit, a memorial service will be held on August 9, 2025, at The Community Church, located at 1000 Parkview Dr. Suite 6, New Iberia, LA 70563. The service will provide family and friends the opportunity to celebrate her life, beginning at 3:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM.
Though Nahelie's time with us was far too brief, her impact on our hearts will forever remain. Let us carry her spirit of compassion, love, and joy with us as we cherish the memories of the sweet girl who taught us all to appreciate life's simple beauty.
