Nancy Anne Dunn, 88 passed away on May 5, 2025 at York Hospital, York Pa. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert F. Dunn who she was married to for 66 years.
Nancy was born September 9th, 1936 in East Orange, New Jersey to Edith and Gordon Henriksen. She attended Union High School and started working with New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. in Newark New Jersey and Sara Lee as a receptionist in Deerfield, Illinois. She then became a loving devoted homemaker and mother to her three children.
She loved traveling with her husband and family especially to the scenic areas of New England, her favorite being Vermont where she vacationed as a young girl. She resided with her family in many locations of the country including New Jersey, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Minnesota and Pennsylvania.
In addition to spending time with her family, some of Nancy's favorite pastimes were gardening, shopping, celebrating holidays and birthdays. She was a big fan of New England shellfish with some of her favorites being clams, oysters and lobster.
She will be greatly missed by her three children: Craig and his wife Diane of Tewksbury, MA; Gordon and his wife Julie of Sandy Hook, CT, Kristin Stell and her husband Mark of York, PA and her six grandchildren Brian, Cindy, Julia, Jenna, Jacob, Brady and four nieces.
Nancy was a woman of faith who loved Jesus. She attended various churches, bible studies and enjoyed the old hymns.
A private memorial celebration of life will take place in the future and she will be laid to rest in New London, New Hampshire beside her husband.
