With heavy hearts, we gather to celebrate the life of Nelson Rivera. A beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, loving brother, and dear friend. Nelson touched the lives of many with his strength, resilience, kindness and the deep love he held for his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Milly Garcia, and his children: Gabrielle, Ashley, Alysha, and Abel. Nelson's legacy continues through his grandchildren: Nathaniel, Gianni, Aliyonna, Jazelle, Grayson, Isla, and Kierre. Each of whom brought him immeasurable pride and joy.
Nelson is also survived by his brothers Ricardo, and Andre. His two nieces who were sisters to him Angelica, and Velinda. Their bond was strong and filled with love that went far beyond titles.
Nelson's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Nelson's presence was a gift, his laughter, his stories, and the lessons he shared will remain with us always. His resilient spirit left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. While we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the love he gave, the lessons he shared. Though his physical presence has left us, his memory will never fade.
As we honor his life today, we give thanks for the time we had with him and the love he gave so freely.
