Neva attended Marion High School and went on to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Tucson Medical Center.
Neva had a passion for genealogy and loved to sew. She enjoyed spending time in nature and had a special fondness for animals, even caring for a pet owl for a couple of years.
She is survived by her daughter, Leales (Robert) Rapp of Gas City; grandchildren, Lonnie Upshaw, Denise Born, Tommy Huffman, Chelsi Line, and Crystal Rapp; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her beloved cat, Spook; and nieces, Anna Turner, Lois Carter, and Patty Qualls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Hazel Scott; husband, Howard L. Williams; son, Steven Lessley Williams; and brothers, Russell Franklin Scott and David Mark Scott.
Neva will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, service, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
At Neva's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
