Nicholas was a self-employed blast inspector who took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. In his personal life, he was a loyal and loving partner, family member, and friend.
He was an avid NY Yankees fan and got Jeter's autograph with his granddaughter, Ashley, at her first MLB game. Nick loved taking his family on outings to the Maritime Aquarium, and restaurants, but most of all loved sitting outside watching the birds while listening to the Yankees.
He is survived by his beloved life partner, Sharon Britton, and his stepchildren: Brad Mitchell, Scott Mitchell (Joan), and Laura Bochino (Butch). He was a proud grandfather "Poppy" to Ashley Petersen (Jake), Christopher Bochino, Cassidy Bochino (Jimmy Stiles), Tyler Smith, Jo-Anna Gunning and a cherished great-grandfather to Scarlett Petersen.
Nicholas was predeceased by his step-daughter, Theresa Britton.
