Warner Funeral Homes & Crematory - SpencerNile Clyde Brown, the son of Clyde and Velma (Burkhart) Brown was born on October 26, 1940 in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Webb, IA area, where he attended school and graduated Garfield-Webb High School in 1958. He then attended Iowa State University.
Nile married Sharen Gibson on June 10, 1962 in Webb, IA. To this union, 3 children were born, Brenda, Brad, and Brent. He made a life, farming and feeding cattle. He enjoyed Sprint cars and following ISU sports.
Nile passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Home in Spencer, IA, at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Brenda.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Sharen of Webb, IA; 2 sons, Brad (Kerry) of Webb, IA and Brent (Lisa) of Spencer, IA. 5 grandchildren, Kearsten (Steven) Bunting, Karver, Kaylee, Mackenzie, and Max; 2 great-grandchildren, Kenna and Kal Bunting; other relatives and many friends.
