Noah Priddy Obituary

Noah Thomas Priddy Sr., 89, passed away peacefully in the arms of The Lord at 1:20 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home in Louisville.

Noah was born Nov. 10, 1935, in Upton in rural Hart County. He was raised in the church and was saved at Millerstown Missionary Baptist Church, beginning a lifelong commitment to serving the Lord, a devotion that shaped his character and guided his priorities.

As a young man, he moved to Louisville and began working at American Air Filter, where he spent more than three decades. Noah lived his life steadfast within the Lord and his faith was central to his life. He was a devoted member of Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Arlene Demaree; his parents, Flora and Burvin Priddy; a sister, Virginia Roden; and a daughter-in-law, Sue Priddy.

Survivors include his four children, Jess T. Priddy Sr., Dale L. Priddy (Cara), Noah T. Priddy Jr. (Sherry) and Jacqueline K. Roselle (Tony); as well as his 16 cherished grandchildren, Jess Priddy Jr., Josh Priddy, Sharon Chitwood, Jessica Trowbridge, Brittany Overcash, Emily Atwell, Brooke Englund, Andrew Atwell, Ryan Dunn, Brent Dunn, Whitney Stevens, Noah Thomas Priddy III, Chynnne' Roselle, Tabatha Roselle, Aaron Roselle and Terry Demaree; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

While words fall short of capturing the full measure of his impact, those who knew him will forever remember his firm but gentle hands. We love you Pop with everything in us. Thank you for being our rock, our guide and our example of strength, faith and love.

The funeral is at noon Monday, July 14, at Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church, 1224 Becker Avenue in Louisville with interment in Brookland Cemetery.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road, and continues from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.
