Garry Wayne Snyder Sr., age 74, passed away at his home in Ocean City on Monday, September 15, 2025. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Norman Tollison Snyder and Helen Elizabeth Stansbury Snyder.

Garry liked to say, "live life to its fullest"-and that's exactly what he did. He was funny and quick-witted, the life of every party, and he could make anyone laugh. Adventurous at heart, he loved sailing, skiing, hiking, and traveling, and never missed a chance to be part of the action. He was a supportive partner and father, and a loyal friend. He loved dogs and kids, and he cherished time spent with those he loved. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the joy of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving companion of 19 years, Dana Babel; his stepdaughter, Adrienne Marcus; his brother, Norman Snyder (Trish); his sister, Joy Selman (Bruce, M.D.). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Norah and Quentin Smith and by his nieces.

Cremation has taken place. No formal services are planned at this time. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home, Berlin, MD.
