Norma (“Sam”) I. Patterson Robinson, age 94, died peacefully surrounded by her family at home in Aurora on October 14, 2025. She worked at Rocky Mountain Arsenal for 34 years, a bookstore, and then for many years for Maranville Realty. She was an avid fisher, camper, snowmobiler, bowler and loved her bingo later in life. She was preceded in death by her husband for 64 years, William J. Robinson, Jr. She is survived by her son, Gregory Robinson, his wife Barb, their two sons Jason and Jeff, a daughter Linda McGowen, her husband Ron, their four children Aaron, Andrew, Amanda and Ashley, and a daughter Janice Vavra, her husband Dean and their children Ben and Ruth along with ten great grandchildren. A viewing will be on Thursday October 23rd from 3:00-4:30pm at Horan & McConaty Parker Road - 11150 E Dartmouth Ave Aurora, CO 80014. A private service for family on October 24th from 4:00-6:00pm will be followed by a private buffet, and internment will be October 27th at 12:30pm at Fort Logan. Flowers may be sent to Horan & McConaty, or donations in memory of Norma sent to the Salvation Army.
