Norman Lantie Spencer, 87 of Lexington, GA; he was born in French Creek, West Virginia on May 6, 1937 and passed away February 16, 2025. He was the son of the late, Lantie Spencer; raised by the late, mother and step father, Reta & Marion Conrad; also preceded in death by a son, James A. Spencer. He was a member of Lexington Baptist Church in Lexington, GA and a member of Oglethorpe Camp of The Gideons International. Mr. Spencer graduated from West Virginia State University with a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics.
The chapel service will be Thursday February 20, 2025 5:00 PM at Lord & Stephens, East Chapel with Rev’s Matt Bartlett and Charles Jones Officiating. The family will visit prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The interment will be in Clark cemetery.
Survivors include: Wife of 61 years, Peggy Spencer; son, Douglas (Nicole) Spencer; daughter, Mareta Spencer (Doug) Spieth; three grandchildren, Lantie Spencer. James Spencer, and Coralee Spieth.
