Norval "Danny" Loden Obituary

Danny Loden of Joan, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 22, 2025. He was born to Norval H. Loden and Sarah Pratt Loden in Hot Springs, Arkansas on October 21,1947.

Danny spent 25 years serving his community at the Hot Springs Fire Department. He was an expert carpenter, built many houses, and helped remodel his church. He believed all work should be perfect to the 'nth degree. Danny was also a great mechanic, gardener, and craftsman. Dan had a great love for birds and feathery clouds, but most of all, God and family. Danny cherished each child, grandchild and great grandchild. He loved and served his Savior and church faithfully. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Arkadelphia. As a husband, Dan was a true prince to his wife, Kathy, for over 27 years. Dan had a special bond with Rev. Richard Price, who served not only as his pastor for many years, but as a true brother.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Loden; children: Sheila Loden Terry (Don), Angela Loden Morgan (Gary), James David Honeycutt (Teresa), Ashley Honeycutt Failla (John); grandchildren: Faith McCallister (Matthew), Veronica Canales (Edgar), Mackenzie Harper (Matt), Luz Camacho, Isaac Honeycutt, Stella Honeycutt, Alejandro Camacho, Xander Kinard, Zoe Failla; great-grandchildren: Norah Harper, Morgan McCallister, Micah Harper, Asher McCallister, Jovie Harper, Marcello Canales, Phoebe Canales, Lyra Canales, and Benjamin McCallister; sister: Cindy Riley (Billy), and aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

He is predeceased by his parents, twin infant brothers, John and Dewey Loden, sister Joyce Fason (Gerald).

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.A second visitation will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. at The Pentecostal Church of Arkadelphia (located on Country Club Road), followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Officiants will be Rev. Paul Price and Rev. Richard Price, and Chaplain Marilyn Reed.
