Oliver James Smith born in Fort Wayne, Indiana went home to be with the Lord October 7, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Minnie Smith, brother Dale and stepson Clinton Holland. He is survived by his wife Janice, brothers Roger, Brian and Cameron, sons Matthew and Logan, stepchildren Travis Holland and Amanda Peale. He was the loving grandfather of Alex, Katie, Harley, Trinity, Zoe and Daniel.
His Celebration of Life will be held at The Promise Church
Saturday, October 25th at 3pm PST
2427 S. Center City Pkwy
Escondido, CA 92025

I served with Oliver on the valley center planning group and was also the chair of the design review board in Valley Center for several years. Oliver will be greatly missed, he was a kind and decent individual, very smart and very dedicated to his community. I know he´ll be missed by all who knew him.My deepest sympathy goes to his family, and I wish them all well. May God bless you, Keith Robertson, former Valley Center resident
