Owen Henry Harris, 94, of Hope Mills passed away July 10, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born in Robeson County, he was the son of the late Lee Roy and Trulie Ross Harris. He was also preceded in death by his wife Rose Elaine Harris, sister, Betty Lou Hyman and two brothers, Robert Harris and Alex Harris.
He is survived by daughters, Kim Britt and Lisa McDonald & husband Brian both of Hope Mills and Kathy Adams & husband Ronnie of Elizabethtown; son, Hank Harris & wife Lisa of Hope Mills; grandchildren, Joshua Britt & wife Taylor, Aaron Britt & wife Casey, Jessica Scott, Amber Harris & husband Brandon, Christopher Harris & wife Brittany, Brittany Mott & husband Brian, Brianna Harris & husband Coy and Garrett McDonald; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Helen Furches & husband Junior and Patricia Palmisano; brother, Thomas Davis & wife Betty; sister in law, Ella Harris.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Cotton Fire Department PO Box 129 Hope Mills, NC 28348.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
