Paige Lynne Lubbers, age 42, passed away after a serious infection, August 28th, 2025 in Columbus, OH. Born in Cincinnati, May 23rd, 1983 to Rebecca (Collins) and James "Jeep" McFarlan III. Paige grew up in Ft. Thomas, KY where from a young age she loved animals and making friends. She graduated in 2005 from the University of Dayton with a degree in Art History. On December 16th, 2006, she married the love of her life, Brad Lubbers. 2 years later they moved to Nashville, TN, so Brad could attend Vanderbilt University for his doctoral studies. Paige began fostering dogs for several rescue groups in Nashville, helping over 85 dogs find permanent homes. In 2015, on her wedding anniversary no less, she received a second chance at life after receiving an organ transplant. Paige and Brad welcomed their adopted son, Jameson in 2018. In 2021, they moved to Columbus, OH for a job opportunity and to be closer to family. They welcomed their adopted daughter, Elizabeth in 2025. Paige was a devoted mother, enriching the lives of her children with many activities and experiences. She was a friend to all, always going out of her way to help those around her and bring joy to everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her brother, James "Jimmy" McFarlan IV, her grandparents, Elizabeth "Betts" and James McFarlan II, and Treva and Thomas Collins, and her sheepdog, Schnitzel. Paige is survived by her parents, her husband, her children, her sister-in-law, Renee, and her dogs, Dunkel and Strudel.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 from 10-11am at St. Mary Church, German Village, 672 S 3rd St, Columbus, OH, 43206, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Additional calling hours will be held at Dobbling Funeral Home, 106 S Fort Thomas Ave, Ft. Thomas, KY, 41075 on September 4th, 2025, from 10-Noon. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, KY, 41071. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Jameson and Elizabeth's education fund at Ugift529.com with code K7P-P5N
