Pamela Bates, 62, of Waynesville, NC, passed away on June 13, 2025.
Born on October 24, 1962, in Philadelphia, PA, Pamela was known for her unwavering strength, sense of humor, and deep love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Richard G. Bates II; her loving husband, Richard G. Bates I; and her parents, Barbara Farley and Gerald Farley.
Pamela is survived by her devoted son, Charles Earhart III; her cherished grandsons, Carter and Dorian; her brother, Jerry Fraley; her sisters, Debra Badamo and Roxanne Cope; and many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory with love.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Allen's Creek Recreational Park in Waynesville, NC. All who knew and loved Pamela are welcome to attend and share in the remembrance of a life so beautifully lived.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund in her memory.
