Pamela Ann Marsh Liford, 80, of Gonzales, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025. Pam was born July 2, 1945 in Oceanside, CA, to Dr. James Marsh and Avanell Pence Marsch. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan. Pam married John H. Liford on October 27, 1989 in Reno, NV.

Pam worked as a project manager for an engineering firm in Houston before retiring to open Liford's Books and Fine Arts with husband John, a passion she enjoyed for 17 years. Beyond the bookstore Pam loved to travel to South and Central America and the Galapagos Islands and trips to Europe were enjoyed as well.

As a proud and devoted democrat, Pam kept herself abreast of all issues domestic and abroad. Her favorite news network was MSNBC, to be sure Pam saw this news source as true and correct.

Pamela Ann Marsh Liford is survived by her loving husband, John H. Liford of Gonzales, sister, Cheryl Field of Marquette, MI, nephews, Kenneth Field, and Michael Field (Lindsay), and great-nephews, Sean and Gordie Fields. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, George Field.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Friends may leave their condolences to the family by visiting www.seydlerhillfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be made in Pam's name to F.O.G.A.S., Friends of Gonzales Animal Shelter, 1380 County Rd 252, Gonzales, TX 78629. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
