Pamela Stockton passed away peacefully at home in Jackson Wyoming, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and an unwavering ability to make those around her feel cherished. Born in Whittier, California, in 1945, she was the beloved daughter of Blanche Gomez and Eddie Alexander, though she was raised by Robert Gomez.
Pamela had a radiant spirit that made every person she encountered feel special. Her infectious laughter, compassionate nature, her beauty and grace drew people to her. She loved to explore the world, traveling with friends and loved ones. Her passion for reading was shared with those around her and her bookclub of more than 35 years.
Creativity flowed through every aspect of her life. She owned an art gallery and an interior design studio, using her impeccable taste to turn houses into homes filled with beauty and warmth. She built a thriving interior design business in Jackson Hole, serving clients all across the United States. But more than the spaces she transformed, Pamela was devoted to making the world around her a better place—most importantly, as a loving mother to her daughters, Stephanie and Elise.
Pamela had a deep love for her communities and always sought ways to give back. Whether she was serving as Chair for the Patrons Ball at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming, sitting on the Board of Rotary, or contributing to the Board of the Chamber of Commerce in Jackson, Wyoming, she gave her time selflessly, always seeking to uplift those around her.
More than anything, Pamela treasured the relationships she built. She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones, sharing stories, laughter, and heartfelt moments. She adored her sons-in-law, John and Eric, and was endlessly proud of her treasured grandchildren, Braden, Carson, and Liesel. Her friends remember her as the one who could light up any room, a confidante, and a source of unwavering support.
In her final months, Pamela was enveloped by an outpouring of love. Friends and family reminisced about her kindness, humor, and the grIace with which she carried herself. Her impact is immeasurable, and her memory will live on in the countless hearts she touched.
Pamela's love, laughter, and joy of life will be deeply missed, but her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole at 3pm on Thursday, February 13th. Refreshments will be offered after.
