Pamela Wenzel, born on December 27, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on May 17, 2025, in her hometown at the age of 74 years.

Pamela was a devoted member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church and cherished her time spent traveling with her sister, Candace. Together, they explored many historical sites across the United States and Canada, creating lasting memories that underscored the deep bond they shared. Both sisters were active in the Airstream Travel Group. Pamela was destined to be a nurse; it was her life’s passion. She obtained her RN degree and later retired from St. Mary’s as head of nursing.

She is survived by many relatives and friends. Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Martin J. Wenzel; her mother and step-father, Donna Mae (Newcomb) and Henry Velthuysen; her sister, Candace "Candy" Wenzel; and many other dear family members and friends.

A funeral service for Pam will take place 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Joshua Becker will officiate with private burial next to her sister at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
