Patricia B. Allen, age 77, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Villa Franciscan in Joliet.
Patricia is survived by her children Michael (Rebecca Smith) Allen and Teague Allen; her siblings Tina (David) Pollock, Allyson Carter-Moody (Ron), Pinky (Wayne) Stewart, and Robert Burns; her sister-in-law Nancy Burns; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Robert K. Allen; her parents, Robert and Ruth Burns; and her brother Peter Burns.
With the love of her life Robert (Bob) Allen, they loved being known as The New Burns and Allen Duo. After obtaining her degree in Divinity, Patricia became a minister with the Reformed Church of America, and in her later years she officiated many funerals and weddings of those in the community and surrounding area. Private burial for Patricia took place on Saturday February 22, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankfort, Illinois.
A Memorial visitation will take place at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 12 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, Illinois, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:30A.M. to 11 A.M. Memorial service to start at 11A.M.
