Patricia "Nanny Pat" Marie Bray, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in
Wynnewood, OK on June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Pat
was an amazing mother, nanny, sister, aunt and friend. She had a contagious smile that
could light up any room and a heart of gold to all that she knew.
Born on August 27, 1954, in New York to Mary Warrick Jeffcoat and Leroy Welch. Pat
retired from Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Ardmore, OK in 2006. She then
worked for Southern Oklahoma Resource Center in Pauls Valley, OK from 2009-2013 to
where she then became an in-home foster agency companion then officially retired in
2019. After retirement, she devoted her time to her family and friends. She enjoyed
watching football, family gatherings, playing with her cats, and going to the casino with
Myrna and family.
As a mother of 3, grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 9, Pat was the heart of
the family. She had a knack for remembering every birthday, anniversary, and important
dates of her family and friends, never failing to send a card, a message, or make a call.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Mary Warrick Jeffcoat and Leroy Welch;
brother, Steven Reeves; great granddaughter, Cooper Lynn Dilbeck; foster daughter,
Stacey Hines.
Survivors include children, Valerie Bray and bonus daughter Donna Claxton of
Wynnewood, Ivan "Bubba" Bray III and wife Jesica of Lone Grove, Shawna Keith and
husband Josh of Stratford; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her loving
baby brother Richard Reeves and wife Kristine of Bradenton, FL, brother Tim Reeves of
Bradenton, FL, sister Sharon Brasher of Brandon, MS; and numerous nieces and
nephews and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wynnewood with Richard Reeves officiating. Flowers for the service may be sent to the DeArman Funeral Home at 103 E Cherokee St., Wynnewood Ok 73098.
