Patricia A. Cox, 80, of Columbus, passed away at 4:58 PM on Thursday May 1, 2025, at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born April 10, 1945, in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of Milton & Evelyn Marie (Pickett) Hull. She was a 1963 graduate of Lakenheath High School in England. She was a Columbus resident since 1968. She was a telephone operator at the Greensburg Telephone Company and Columbus Regional Hospital for many years. Her hobbies included reading and sending special occasion cards. She married Jack Cox on August 3, 1984, in Tennessee and he preceded her in death in 2000.Survivors include her brothers, Robert (Raymona) Hull of Westport and Richard (Sandra) Hull and James (Brenda) Hull both of Columbus. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th From 11 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through the funeral home. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.bassgasper.com
