Patricia Ann Griffith
Age 90, of AuGres, Michigan, Patricia Ann Griffith passed away on July 4, 2025, in Standish, Michigan. Patricia was born to the late Gilbert Rial and Mary Agnes Stebbins in Detroit, Michigan, on November 5, 1934. She was a graduate of Southwestern High School in Detroit. Following high school, Patricia spent time working at Bell Telephone and at the Wabash Railroad company where she was an accomplished administrative assistant.
On August 11, 1953, she married the love of her life, Ronald Francis Griffith. Patricia was 18 years old when they started building their lives together raising their four boys. The two of them shared 71 amazing years of marriage and made many memories along the way. In 2014, the couple relocated to AuGres, Michigan to be closer to their children. Patricia loved the comradery of the town along with her view of the river, and she settled into the beautiful community. There were very few things that Patricia valued more than her family. Her children meant the world to her, and she loved them with all of her heart. She also had a tremendous faith in the lord. Some of her favorite hobbies included crocheting, listening to music, singing, playing the organ, fishing, picnicking at Edward Heinz Park, and camping at Walden Woods.
Patricia is survived by her children, Ronald (Barbara) Griffith and Mike (Tracy) Griffith; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; her sister, Susie Flynn; her brother-in-law, Oakley Smith; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Gilbert Rial and Mary Agnes Stebbins, Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Ronald Francis Griffith; her sons, James David Griffith and John Mark Griffith; and nine brothers and sisters.
Per Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place. You may leave an online condolence at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
