The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mount Olive, MS.
Patricia was born on July 6, 1944, to Virgil Hall and Myrtis Tuggle Hall in Mount Olive, MS where she was raised. She was the head cheerleader and the Beauty Queen at her High School. She graduated from Mount Olive High School and later went to cosmetology school. She worked at the telephone company until becoming manager at The Diet Center, and then went on to become the manager of Vendors Emporium where she could work with her arts and crafts that she so enjoyed. She had a part in taking care of her siblings in earlier years and loved vacationing with them. Patricia has lived 20 plus years in the Florence/Star community and was a member of Star Baptist Church. Before that, she was a faithful member of Lakeshore Baptist Church in Jackson, MS, where her and Jimmy raised their family. She was married to the Love of her Life, Jimmy C. Hardin, Sr., for 61 years and together they built a wonderful family and life. They were introduced by a good friend, Don Kelly, and it was love at first sight, marrying only two months later.
Patricia loved doing crafts like weaving baskets. She learned the trade from Jimmy’s father. She loved working in the flower beds and watching Jimmy feed the birds. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Club. She loved the mountains, especially Branson, MO. Patricia enjoyed bowling, water skiing, and she even sold Tuper Ware back in her younger days! Her and Jimmy were active in the Wahabi Shriner's Organization for many years. She will truly be missed.
