Patricia "Pat" Ann Kyle Kenney, 91, a resident of Mill Creek passed from this life Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Lavender Fields Assisted Living in Beverly.

Pat was born Wednesday, January 3, 1934, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Bruce Kyle and Addie Smith Kyle. On June 23, 1951, in Mill Creek, she married Lindsey L. Kenney who preceded her in death on April 2, 2019.

Left to cherish Pat's memory are seven children, David Lindsey Keney of Mill Creek, Deborah Lynne Wamsley and husband, Randall, of Maryland, Lisa Ann Defibaugh and husband, Robert of Mill Creek, Kimberly Sue Murphy of Dailey, Mary Beth Nicodemus and husband, William, of Virginia, John Alan Kenney and wife, Bonita, of North Carolina, and Bruce Hull Kenney and wife, Joelle, of Elkins, two sisters, Joy Lee Gettys of Illinois and Paula Sue Roberts and husband, Roger, of Waynesboro, VA, one brother, John Kyle of Charleston, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding Pat in death besides her parents and husband were six siblings and one son-in-law, John Murphy.

Pat was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School with the class of 1952. She had worked for the Randolph County Board of Education as a cook at both George Ward Elementary and Tygarts Valley High School from which she retired. She was always a hard worker and loved to cook.

Pat's request for cremation was honored. A private graveside service will be held at Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
