Patricia Joann May (nee Kemp), age 67, passed away on July 2, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Patricia was born on August 15, 1957, in Painesville, OH. She is the treasured wife of Donald May; loving mother of her twin sons Don May and Joe May; proud grandmother of Avin May, Ethan Landi, Clara May, and Cade May; and caring sister of June Lorenzo, Donna French (Pete), Ruth Salsgiver, Lisa Kemp, Kimberly New, Tay Teter (Kimmy), and Pam Lemieux. She is also survived by her loving mother Linda Teter.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father Garry Kemp, her stepfather Harold Teter Sr., and her brothers-in-law Jimmy Lorenzo and Jim Lemieux.
As the eldest of seven children, Patricia's nurturing nature emerged early on with her siblings. Throughout her life, she remained a constant source of comfort and love to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Truly, she was the matriarch of her family
Besides cherishing moments with her family and friends, Patricia had a plethora of hobbies and talents. Her love for the beach inspired her to collect and create beautiful sea glass art. She was also skilled in painting, crafts, crocheting, and anything that allowed her creativity to shine. Among all the wonderful memories she created with her family, her legacy of love will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Patricia's life will be Wednesday July 9, 2025, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 11:00AM at the same location. Interment will be at Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
