RICHMOND, Ind. – Patricia "Patty" Sue Rudicil, age 73, of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Ambassador Healthcare.
Born July 31, 1951, in Richmond, Indiana, to William Morton and Betty Lou Showalter Harness, Patty was a life-long resident of this area. She was a graduate of Centerville High School. After graduation, she married Stephen Rudicil, and Patty took care of their three children. Patty loved taking care of her family and making sure that their home was clean and comfortable. When the grandchildren arrived, she enjoyed babysitting and spoiling them. Patty could often be found reading her Bible, and she was a member of Central Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Rudicil; children, David (Danielle) Rudicil, Luke (Patricia) Rudicil, and Matthew (Missy) Rudicil; grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Anastasia "Annie," Allie, Katherine, and Levi; one great-grandchild on the way; sister, Jean May; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda Harness and Elsie Allen; and brother, William Harness.
Visitation for Patricia "Patty" Sue Rudicil will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025, at Central Christian Church, 4511 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025, at Central Christian Church with Pastor Daniel Moses officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
